Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edoardo Corna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edoardo Corna made a great header on Fc Molina di Quosa's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Edoardo Corna was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Molina di Quosa's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Corna in the 70th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Rolf Skarsø made a huge save.
