Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Claus in the 5th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Åke Brummer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucjan Bejger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucjan Bejger slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucjan Bejger. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl-Åke Brummer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Braaby in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Åke Brummer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 34th minute of the match. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Lucjan Bejger sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Braaby in the 40th minute of play. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 45th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Åke Brummer saved Lanzenkirchen from getting behind. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Claus in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 57th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play. Roland Freytag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. 73 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Roque Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolai Nowak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers.
