A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Edward Mcdonald hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Humberto Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Portillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zach Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Silvano Portillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenson Smith in the 36th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Liljeström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were awarded a corner. Tobias Xacintu went to the cornerflag to take it. Saturnino Romo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrnes short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Silvano Portillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Silvano Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Saturnino Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Hurezeanu in the 61st minute of play. Saturnino Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cassius Byrne kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 66thth minute. Though ot was a great shot ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s keeper Silvano Portillo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 69 minutes into the match, Saturnino Romo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka was substituted for Saturnino Romo. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Marchefka in the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jerzy Marchefka managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Marchefka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Marchefka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Leo Bikendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
