Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bogdan Bambas in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Servet Bakırcıoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Servet Bakırcıoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gaspar Romero hit a great ball. İskender Orbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper İskender Orbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İskender Orbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İskender Orbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürsel Durusoy got free with Julio Vera in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match, Servet Bakırcıoğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 35 minutes into the match, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but İskender Orbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İskender Orbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Bambas in the 37th minute of play. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Börje Linquist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Bogdan Bambas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bogdan Bambas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İskender Orbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Bambas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Linquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniel Zorita got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. İskender Orbey was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. İskender Orbey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. In the 60th minute Bogdan Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Börje Linquist was slow to take the kick. During this time BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's corner Börje Linquist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 76th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but İskender Orbey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. İskender Orbey made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind İskender Orbey. İskender Orbey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Gürsel Durusoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42.
