Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 2 minutes into the game, Wiliam Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute. After 10 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Fenomeno came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldinho Fenomeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santos Rallo was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Pikachuzim's players had a chance to rest. AS Pikachuzim's Jacinto Veiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Ronaldinho Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 20th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hristofor Borchev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after AS Pikachuzim's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev did a great save. Ronaldinho Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Arif Oğuz Semdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Luciano Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Luciano Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hristofor Borchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
