Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiaan Middeljans in the 3rd minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Peter Oldenborger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of MK Investments booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastiaan Middeljans came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Sebastiaan Middeljans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Peter Oldenborger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Escribano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. The audience was convinced that Waclaw Poremba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Oldenborger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastiaan Middeljans in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Peter Oldenborger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Waclaw Poremba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Waclaw Poremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastiaan Middeljans was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Sebastiaan Middeljans sent off a good shot on target. After 52 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastiaan Middeljans who took care of the corner kick. In the 54th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Sebastiaan Middeljans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Sebastiaan Middeljans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Peter Oldenborger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 58th minute of play. The throw-in from Jorn Pilage in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Peter Oldenborger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 75th minute of the match. Peter Oldenborger came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Peter Oldenborger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 83rd minute of play. Domenik Hoffhuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the MK Investments players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Uruguay.
