In the 15th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto de Almeida skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the match, FCF north's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fausto de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho Alcântara's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mazinho Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Mazinho Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Xie Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arcan Çapan.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xie Yan to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Xie Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCF north's supporters rose to their feet, but Xie Yan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto de Almeida came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto de Almeida having to interfere. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Yan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 75th minute. Edgar Baan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. FCF north's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arcan Çapan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Yan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Arcan Çapan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Arcan Çapan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Jonathan Steelman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, FCF north was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Wijk to maneuver through the defense. Xie Yan charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xie Yan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
