Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Yanick Knecht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Marcu Iosub capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcu Iosub really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Şimandan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Daniel Şimandan put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Iosub in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Şimandan's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Şimandan was slow to take the kick. During this time LIVIUS UNITED MLS's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Şimandan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcu Iosub might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcu Iosub ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Daniel Şimandan took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute, Daniel Şimandan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Daniel Şimandan shot from long distance after 46 played minutes, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a LIVIUS UNITED MLS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. LIVIUS UNITED MLS made a substitution. Doru Pânzaru replaced Daniel Şimandan. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Emanuel Zbârnea got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 54th minute. Aristide Păunescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bartolomé Perpiñán came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the LIVIUS UNITED MLS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolomé Perpiñán couldn't finish the play. George Catry kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Iosub in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Zbârnea was slow to take the kick. During this time LIVIUS UNITED MLS's players had a chance to rest. Aristide Păunescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Doru Pânzaru in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute Bartolomé Perpiñán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Zbârnea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute Doru Pânzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Bartolomé Perpiñán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Yanick Knecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when LIVIUS UNITED MLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Catry didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LIVIUS UNITED MLS the free kick. The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
