Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Oğuzhan Sarıaslan sent off a good shot on target. FC 68AKSARAY's Mevlüt Ünsevin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 5th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzhan Sarıaslan in the 6th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mevlüt Ünsevin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 14 minutes, Oğuzhan Sarıaslan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC 68AKSARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzhan Sarıaslan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oğuzhan Sarıaslan in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Rakoski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzhan Sarıaslan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC 68AKSARAY were furious when Yaser Erbatur was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 30th minute, one of FC 68AKSARAY:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC 68AKSARAY. Edmund Rakoski had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 0-1 came in the 33rd minute when Tomas Illescas all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Edmund Rakoski. After having played for 36 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ümit Yalkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 40th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Rakoski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Oğuzhan Sarıaslan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After a rather tough play, FC 68AKSARAY's Avni Uluçkan got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Avni Uluçkan fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC 68AKSARAY's protests and gave Avni Uluçkan a yellow card for diving instead. Avni Uluçkan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Ümit Yalkın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC 68AKSARAY's Edmund Rakoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, one of FC 68AKSARAY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in FC 68AKSARAY's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Rakoski came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ümit Yalkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
