Iraklis Rapanos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Lite Finare Lite Bättre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Munez to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Jonsson in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Peter Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

Luz Tejedor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Belkå having to make a save. Peter Belkå made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Peter Belkå reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cao Xing Si took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Lite Finare Lite Bättre made a substitution. Manuel Sá replaced Orlando da Costa. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
