Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 康雄霆, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 康雄霆 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 康雄霆 in the 18th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that XL-Azrail Team's Nurkan Beycan managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half USA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 68thth minute of the game Fatih-Sultan Tekke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
