In the 9th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foeke Wisgerhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 18th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dukaton f.c.'s Lukas Blaauwgeers. But to his dismay, Lukas Blaauwgeers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With 26 minutes on the clock, Camilo Gaos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Blaauwgeers, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Steve Hilhorst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dukaton f.c. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Patricio Costa made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Foeke Wisgerhof narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 75th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lukas Blaauwgeers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
