Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Harun Mengüer sent off a good shot on target. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stipe Pletikosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Harun Mengüer made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Harun Mengüer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Harun Mengüer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Harun Mengüer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Zorita. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fortuna 86 Szczecin made a substitution. Roberto Nirvana replaced Harun Mengüer. After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Nirvana in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Roberto Nirvana put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 62nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Fortuna 86 Szczecin made a substitution. Jorne Van Mellart replaced Mariusz Gruchacz. In the 63rd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Roberto Nirvana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Roberto Nirvana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 75 played minutes Fortuna 86 Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Bartoszek. With a little luck, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Roberto Nirvana notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Roberto Nirvana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Roberto Nirvana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fortuna 86 Szczecin had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
