Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Trecebarras got a freekick which was hit by Osoro Erosa. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caitano Aguilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Abasalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trecebarras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito Abasalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Vito Abasalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Trecebarras's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montes came free, but Vito Abasalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montes in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito Abasalo saved Trecebarras from getting behind. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Machado Babia made a kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Babia in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Kemen Marcilla notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the game, Xamin Salazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. The supporters of Trecebarras booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xamin Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Favila Flores in the 77th minute of play. When Caitano Aguilar fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trecebarras's protests and gave Caitano Aguilar a yellow card for diving instead. Caitano Aguilar hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Vito Abasalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Babia in the 90th minute of play.
