The audience thought a goal was coming when Govert Beuneker got free with Julio Vera in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bolivian AI 1.0's Rainerio Abancens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jacob Armitage charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacob Armitage the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacob Armitage kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 9th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Govert Beuneker sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bolivian AI 1.0's Chan Aballe. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Govert Beuneker in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Bolivian AI 1.0's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Kristián Pražan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivian AI 1.0's goalkeeper Kristián Pražan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Bolivian AI 1.0's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristián Pražan quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montes in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristián Pražan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Juan Sebastián Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivian AI 1.0 the free kick. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Julio Vera had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Rainerio Abancens's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-1 came in the 44th minute when Rainerio Abancens all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Armitage made a kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Zorita. 57 minutes into the match, Bolivian AI 1.0's Govert Beuneker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 minutes Bolivian AI 1.0's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bolivian AI 1.0's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bolivian AI 1.0's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jacob Armitage sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Mancio Abastas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Kristián Pražan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes Bolivian AI 1.0's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bolivian AI 1.0's Kristián Pražan did a great save. In the 71st minute, Felix Montenegro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kristián Pražan, passed just outside the right post. In the 75th minute, Govert Beuneker made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, Bolivian AI 1.0's goalkeeper Kristián Pražan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 84th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristián Pražan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Govert Beuneker in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bolivian AI 1.0 could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
