Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Anton Grimalschi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when UFC Puturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Grimalschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Grimalschi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. UFC Puturoasa's Anton Grimalschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Grimalschi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 34 minutes, Jude Bellingham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Puturoasa and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Anton Grimalschi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Ronaldo to make the kick off. Ruslan Blanari kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Victor Grimalschi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Puturoasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Dobândã in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Anton Grimalschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Anton Grimalschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Anton Grimalschi in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Grimalschi. That made the score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Anton Grimalschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 97th minute. Ecuador played a much better game than UFC Puturoasa and deserved their victory. The UFC Puturoasa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
