Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tome Campoamor started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. In the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Frodo Hernandez. VILLARREAL UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Frodo Hernandez came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 19 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of VILLARREAL UNITED's Frodo Hernandez. Frodo Hernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. VILLARREAL UNITED's Frodo Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Frodo Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Frodo Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Saelices scored 0-5 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frodo Hernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Frodo Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The VILLARREAL UNITED players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Frodo Hernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frodo Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute of play. Daniel Zorita had several of the VILLARREAL UNITED's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Frodo Hernandez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frodo Hernandez. Frodo Hernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Luis Andino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frodo Hernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Frodo Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Frodo Hernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frodo Hernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frodo Hernandez having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15. Isidoro Mangas hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frodo Hernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Juan Sebastián Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Frodo Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frodo Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of the match.
