Mario Fernandino ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 6 minutes, Maximino Urtats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Urtats. 7 minutes in the game Alfonso de la Cruz after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Aurelio Nafarroa. A very good opportunity. In the 8th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Milei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Milei, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Julio Chicote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Benjamin Grabiel got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eduardo Fontirroig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Aurelio Nafarroa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Milei in the 30th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Javier Milei. But to his dismay, Javier Milei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 37 minutes into the game, Felix Cordarrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. The supporters of Bolivia booed when ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Bakar's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Bakar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bolivia booed when ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Romulo Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Romulo Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kaká Tua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Fontirroig kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
