Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Aurel Stătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when Dunărea Călăraşi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Ionășescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marius Radovan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marius Radovan. Marius Radovan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matthew Garrido hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Marius Radovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 26th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Mustăcilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Tomas Berganza scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Radovan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ibrahim Domröse fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunărea Călăraşi's protests and gave Ibrahim Domröse a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Dunărea Călăraşi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibrahim Domröse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marius Radovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 38th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Radovan having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Emil Contra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marius Radovan was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 52nd minute, Aurel Stătescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Radovan having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Dunărea Călăraşi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Marius Radovan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Berganza got free with Marius Radovan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 80th minute of play forced Dunărea Călăraşi's goalkeeper Marius Radovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Radovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 83rd minute of play. Dunărea Călăraşi's Marius Radovan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Dunărea Călăraşi from getting a goal against them. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marius Radovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Marius Radovan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Petru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dunărea Călăraşi throughout the match.
