Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ruperto Sanduru kicked off to start the match. Paraguay's attentive Iker Tafalla managed to snatch the ball when Hilario Baladi made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. The supporters of Paraguay booed when ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Hilario Baladi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ruperto Sanduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Sanduru in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Haitz saved ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ from getting behind. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Candido Haitz made a huge save. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Haitz was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 54th minute. After recieving a nice pass, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Nicolas Loi tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Candido Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Felix Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ruperto Sanduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ got a freekick which was hit by Felix Cordarrell. Jaime Pardo scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Haitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Felix Cordarrell got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of Paraguay booed when ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Nicolas Loi got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jaime Pardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Candido Haitz. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
