After a rather tough play, USA's Fabian Brown got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Bejger came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When USA's Monty Rogers in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to USA's Jacob May getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 12th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolai Nowak hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Karl-Åke Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Lucjan Bejger got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marco Day was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgar Tolsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Lanzenkirchen's players had a chance to rest. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When USA's Monty Rogers in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lanzenkirchen's goalie prevented a goal. After 43 played minutes Lanzenkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Nicolai Nowak. Monty Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roque Claus was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Roque Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Bejger in the 52nd minute of the match. When Lanzenkirchen's Lucjan Bejger in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Brummer made a huge save. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 61st minute of play. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play. Karl-Åke Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Tolsson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Tolsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 71st minute, Niclas Knebel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, USA's Koby Fletcher got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Mcdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Khalid Parry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Åke Brummer came out and tried to block the shot, but Khalid Parry slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 91st minute. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
