Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Octavian Tâmbalari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavian Tâmbalari in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard shot 7 in the game by Daniel Stângã from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Octavian Tâmbalari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Tâmbalari. Octavian Tâmbalari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Tâmbalari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Tâmbalari. Octavian Tâmbalari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 33rd minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Tâmbalari. FC Truseni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Octavian Tâmbalari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Tâmbalari. Octavian Tâmbalari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Octavian Tâmbalari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Tâmbalari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Tâmbalari came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Daniel Dimitriu made the kick off in the second half. Octavian Tâmbalari came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Daniel Zorita in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octavian Tâmbalari, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Felix Montenegro in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 58th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Tâmbalari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Tâmbalari saved FC Truseni from getting behind. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after FC Truseni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luis Andino advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-8 in the 62nd minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octavian Tâmbalari. Octavian Tâmbalari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 68th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Octavian Tâmbalari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octavian Tâmbalari was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Octavian Tâmbalari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Octavian Tâmbalari made a huge save. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, FC Truseni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Tâmbalari. Octavian Tâmbalari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. After 87 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Tâmbalari was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavian Tâmbalari was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-13. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
