Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Okaner in the 19th minute of play. Halil Okaner scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Araucampeón Retirado's goalkeeper Emiliano Manfredi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Manfredi came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 26th minute. Emiliano Manfredi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Araucampeón Retirado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Luca Rouco made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Araucampeón Retirado's Emiliano Manfredi managed to reach the ball for a save. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Araucampeón Retirado's Sotomayor Portas got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Luca Rouco made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joel Gaona immediately put the ball in play. Feliciano Echegoyen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Manfredi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Xavier Angel Trujillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. After having played for 78 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Macos Graciani made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joel Gaona immediately put the ball in play. After 94 played minutes Araucampeón Retirado got a freekick which was hit by Maksymilian Zdrojowy.
