An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 13th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Lauro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingos FC. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Lauro in the 18th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastián Sosa. Sebastián Sosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 23rd play minute Vladimiro Lauro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 2-1. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Lauro in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vladimiro Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marek Torm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marek Torm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 54th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. After 57 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Manuelo. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 62nd minute of play. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Roque Vito struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Sebastián Sosa made a huge save. Ignacio Mastache had several of the Vikingos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Sebastián Sosa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Victor Abaurre replaced Roque Vito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Sebastián Sosa in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abram Secada took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastián Sosa. Sebastián Sosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 85th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Abaurre in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santino Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Victor Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Ladislao Erramu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Ladislao Erramu took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vikingos FC.
