Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Honorato Costante made a huge save. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s goalie and right to Agustín Saelices. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Kramme in the 6th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play forced LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s goalkeeper Honorato Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayfun Gaza to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Filip Soszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Honorato Costante in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s goalkeeper Honorato Costante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honorato Costante stood somewhat misplaced when Cristian Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Costante came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Szkarpiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

57 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Honorato Costante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Costante having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Betonowy to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Costante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Filip Soszka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Honorato Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Costante having to interfere. When Cyprian Naujasodis fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s protests and gave Cyprian Naujasodis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Naujasodis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s Honorato Costante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 86th minute of play. Filip Soszka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Honorato Costante despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, LOS.POLLOS.HERMANOS.'s Daniel Szkarpiak got a free kick in the 91st minute.
