In the 6th minute Felix Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Gerencsér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Kisgyőr.F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kisgyőr.F.C.'s András Nemes got a free kick in the 20th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when János Udvarhelyi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Valentin Jósa sent off a good shot on target. Kisgyőr.F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by András Nemes in the 33rd minute. István Gerencsér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. István Gerencsér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Jósa in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kisgyőr.F.C.'s Márton Dankó got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kisgyőr.F.C.'s goalkeeper István Gerencsér, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for János Udvarhelyi to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented István Gerencsér managed to make a qualified save. Kisgyőr.F.C.'s players were relieved. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. István Gerencsér didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. István Gerencsér was a little too slow when Felix Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-2. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kisgyőr.F.C.'s István Gerencsér proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Kisgyőr.F.C. from getting a goal against them. Kisgyőr.F.C.'s István Gerencsér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. After 75 played minutes Kisgyőr.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Jósa. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Gerencsér having to interfere. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but István Gerencsér read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Kisgyőr.F.C.'s István Gerencsér got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that István Gerencsér narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Márton Dankó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kisgyőr.F.C. throughout the match.
