Emmanuel Reyes made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Tristan Bétourne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Tristan Bétourne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tristan Bétourne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. The Royal PSG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 1-2.

Royal PSG made a substitution. Samuel Izard replaced Edoardo Filippini. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Royal PSG from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute of the match Royal PSG got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Jouglet ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 80th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tristan Bétourne saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Torres in the 81st minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Théophile Boutillier made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 89thth minute of the game Samuel Izard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Bétourne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Torres went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
