In the 10th minute, Ambrosio Indalecio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vamos los PIBES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. During the 15th minute of the match Valentín Carvallo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valentín Carvallo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 32 played minutes Vamos los PIBES got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Osmundo. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernardino Ongile, made in the 36th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Bernardino Ongile in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo.

Vamos los PIBES's Joaquin Bembe was substituted for Ezequiel Aguirre. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Villa was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vamos los PIBES's Venancio Perpinya got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Vamos los PIBES booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Indalecio. Feliciano Donzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Indalecio went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Ambrosio Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Donzel. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Alejandro Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vamos los PIBES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
