Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Parque Europa FC from getting a goal against them. Luis Täger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 20th minute. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luis Täger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Parque Europa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Ryynänen to maneuver through the defense. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger. Luis Täger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Froilan Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Reyes in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lionel-Andrés Messi replaced Saul Gomesano. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Castro came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ronaldo Fenomeno, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Täger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Täger came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Täger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. 90 minutes into the game, Peru's Rafael Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Täger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
