Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Luca Espinar from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Răzvan Lipoveanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Răzvan Lipoveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Aladár Újházi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Răzvan Lipoveanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Răzvan Lipoveanu. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Simon Gervai notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Lipoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Héreg SC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Károly Vándor hit a great ball. Moises Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Răzvan Lipoveanu was a little too slow when Edmundo Espiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 39th minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Răzvan Lipoveanu. The goal made the score 4-1. With a little luck, Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Héreg SC's Ephraim Reeb got a free kick in the 56th minute. Răzvan Lipoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Răzvan Lipoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Héreg SC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Aladár Újházi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maarek Grattepanche hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Milagros Cabal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Răzvan Lipoveanu. Héreg SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Simon Gervai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. In the 82ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Anthimos Balopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Honduras had won after a very even match.
