INGOBERNABLE STADIUM
Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Martínez in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the game, Leon van Persie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10th play minutes Fidel Martínez shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Armando Sando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon van Persie, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Xosepin Mendi took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Fidel Martínez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When INGOBERNABLE F.C's Leon van Persie, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for INGOBERNABLE F.C. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by INGOBERNABLE F.C's Leon van Persie. But to his dismay, Leon van Persie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The corner ended in Rosero Rioja almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Martínez's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Leon van Persie came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. INGOBERNABLE F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rosero Rioja in the 37th minute. 7-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Armando Sando elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Rosero Rioja fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 46th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a INGOBERNABLE F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of INGOBERNABLE F.C booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Fidel Martínez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The wind increased when Fidel Martínez made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Fidel Martínez notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Leon van Persie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Sando in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Intriago Texidor made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. INGOBERNABLE F.C made a substitution. Luis Tximitx replaced Xosepin Mendi. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon van Persie in the 66th minute of play. If Leon van Persie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Leon van Persie came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon van Persie struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INGOBERNABLE F.C. In the 73rd minute INGOBERNABLE F.C were awarded a corner. Rosero Rioja went to the cornerflag to take it. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Rosero Rioja was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leon van Persie scored 11-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Martin Retana made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. 83 minutes into the game, Martin Retana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelian Torouţ kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Martin Retana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Retana went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Tximitx in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Luis Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot. INGOBERNABLE F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Tximitx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. INGOBERNABLE F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
