Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Lauras Normantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauras Normantas in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daugirdas Burokas. FC Alytus United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daugirdas Burokas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 17 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Deividas Mencendorfs who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regimantas Šileikis in the 21st minute of the match. Lauras Normantas in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauras Normantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauras Normantas in the 28th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daugirdas Burokas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 39th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauras Normantas in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Lauras Normantas made the kick off in the second half. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Deividas Mencendorfs sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. 56 minutes into the match, FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daugirdas Burokas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. FC Alytus United's Lauras Normantas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Alytus United's Saulius Inzaghi was substituted for Lauras Normantas. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saulius Inzaghi in the 65th minute of play. After 67 played minutes FC Alytus United got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Antunes. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Saulius Inzaghi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saulius Inzaghi's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Daugirdas Burokas made a huge save. In the 82ndth minute of the game Saulius Inzaghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 90 in the game by Felix Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Daugirdas Burokas managed to make a qualified save. FC Alytus United's players were relieved. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saulius Inzaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, FC Alytus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deividas Mencendorfs to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute really tested Daugirdas Burokas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Daniel Zorita got in the 95th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Daugirdas Burokas. This was a shot which ended in a score of 2-5. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
