With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glenn Antheunis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Glenn Antheunis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Polad Denisov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polad Denisov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Rein Asi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Krzynowek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rein Asi was slow to take the kick. During this time Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rein Asi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Rein Asi's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Julio Vera - 2-1 was put on the score board in the 76th minute. Zachary Krzynowek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Martinez in the 82nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Braulio Martinez sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. 87 minutes into the match, Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL's Braulio Martinez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Braulio Martinez took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Glenn Antheunis in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xaläddin Soltanov kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Zachary Krzynowek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachary Krzynowek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
