The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egg Chasers FC's Stuart Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 3rd minute of play. But to his dismay, Abram Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Garry Dudgeon hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Edward Preston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Edward Preston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Billy Bedford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egg Chasers FC and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. El Salvador made a substitution. Eliseo Carballo replaced Moises Fernandino. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for El Salvador. Mateo Leguizamo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stuart Caton. 0-2. Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Rubio, made in the 29th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joshua Curbelo got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abram Luque. Valentino Ferrant made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Ralf Morcom. The Egg Chasers FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Eliseo Carballo made the kick off in the second half. Stuart Caton made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Eliseo Carballo sent off a good shot on target. Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Rubio, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valentino Ferrant in the 56 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Egg Chasers FC's zone, Eliseo Carballo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stuart Caton came out of the goal and Eliseo Carballo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennie Sanderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Carballo came free, but Stuart Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Egg Chasers FC's Stuart Caton got control of the ball when Abram Luque tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Mateo Leguizamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Luis Rubio hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the game Jorge Magrina made a throw-in which Jesus Carvallo played forward. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Stuart Caton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egg Chasers FC's attentive Steve Knott managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Stuart Caton made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Eliseo Carballo sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Magrina made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Zane Holt. Although Egg Chasers FC had been in control for most of the match, El Salvador still came away with the win.
