Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zabulón Carabajal could save by the left post. FC Klavertje Vier were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iwan Marchefka took the corner. The corner led to FC Klavertje Vier's Celedonio Kemen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 25th minute Lelo Orihuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Klavertje Vier's Georges-Philippe Jooris got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Philipp Van Kestbeek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Philipp Van Kestbeek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Kemen in the 36th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Joery Hylen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Joery Hylen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zabulón Carabajal made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Klavertje Vier's Lelo Orihuela got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Philipp Van Kestbeek made the kick off in the second half. Zabulón Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Kemen got free with Dante Lacasa in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Van Kestbeek, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Lelo Orihuela hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zabulón Carabajal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Zabulón Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Van Kestbeek, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. FC Klavertje Vier made a substitution. Claude Montens replaced Joery Hylen. After 66 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Zabulón Carabajal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabulón Carabajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabulón Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Georges-Philippe Jooris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabulón Carabajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
