Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Bordo Mavi's Mircea Chircu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aytaç Dilsafa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aytaç Dilsafa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Tamás Maros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tamás Maros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Fabinho Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aytaç Dilsafa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Bekir Zühtü recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Bekir Zühtü showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 39 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aytaç Dilsafa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Mircea Chircu could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

58 minutes into the match, Bordo Mavi's goalkeeper Aytaç Dilsafa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Chircu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Maros in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Bordo Mavi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bekir Zühtü to maneuver through the defense. Bekir Zühtü kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Tamás Maros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho Branco in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Yahya Kemal Özender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamás Maros, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
