Jonathan Petri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jonathan Petri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Joseph Joestar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
