Candido Piedra made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Visen Allu came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gerónimo Molina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Pedro Reyes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of play. Visen Allu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Casaus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Candido Piedra. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Gerónimo Molina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Altermundi FC from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Piedra was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Seran Torrijo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chile had won after a very even match.
