The corner ended in Salvador Gisbert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson did a great save. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Xuaco Oñaederra took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Xuaco Oñaederra didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 20th minute. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The supporters of ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Xuaco Oñaederra came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuaco Oñaederra couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Elmer von Platen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Xuaco Oñaederra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Xuaco Oñaederra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xuaco Oñaederra came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xuaco Oñaederra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Xuaco Oñaederra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 倪国庭's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuaco Oñaederra, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Xuaco Oñaederra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
