In the 3rd minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Henrik Larsson came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. Tadej Pogačar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Tadej Pogačar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Decathlon Dudes's Tadej Pogačar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tadej Pogačar. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Costin Moisil was slow to take the kick. During this time Decathlon Dudes's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Decathlon Dudes's corner Costin Moisil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Henrik Larsson in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 17 in the game by Henrik Larsson from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. In the 33rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadej Pogačar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Moisil in the 37th minute. Decathlon Dudes were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Costin Moisil took the corner. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadej Pogačar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Tadej Pogačar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthon Melin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Larsson made a kick off. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Tadej Pogačar made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Decathlon Dudes's Henrik Larsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Marinus Doren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Tadej Pogačar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tadej Pogačar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Decathlon Dudes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Xavier Figueroa at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Decathlon Dudes. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Tadej Pogačar in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Decathlon Dudes's Tadej Pogačar got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Decathlon Dudes. Henrik Larsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thiago Pliego. 3-3. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dylan van Baarle hit a great ball. Timo Venema hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Larsson in the 96th minute of the match. The Chile players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Decathlon Dudes from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
