In the 7th minute, 柯默耀 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but 俞森朗 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. 巩建皓 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 宋康南 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郭笑钢, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 18th minute. 郭笑钢 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 宋康南 went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 郭笑钢 might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 郭笑钢 ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郭笑钢 in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's 巩建皓 got a free kick in the 38th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Axel Tasis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 宋康南, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, 高德晨 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, 柯默耀 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card.
