The Vanadio F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Paulin Sequeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulin Sequeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulin Sequeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Servando Ariztimuño in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leizarraga Olmedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulin Sequeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulin Sequeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vanadio F.C.'s Paulin Sequeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Santino Seco made a precise shot to the right of Paulin Sequeiros. Vanadio F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leizarraga Olmedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Suarez in the 38th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordon Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Leizarraga Olmedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vanadio F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombia were winning 1-3.

Joshua Garrido made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vanadio F.C.'s Janari Hinn. Paulin Sequeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Suarez in the 65th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Paulin Sequeiros made a huge save. With his leg Paulin Sequeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Gordon Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Gordon Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vanadio F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kevin Mastache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vanadio F.C.'s Paulin Sequeiros did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Sequeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 90 in the game by Ignacio Mastache from a close distance when the talented Paulin Sequeiros managed to make a qualified save. Vanadio F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 93rd minute, Abram Secada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulin Sequeiros. The goal made the score 2-4. Gordon Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
