After 5 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Sarmiento. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Claudiu Răducanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Răducanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Claudiu Răducanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Claudiu Răducanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudiu Răducanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Claudiu Răducanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Răducanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Claudiu Răducanu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Claudiu Răducanu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the MARAZZINO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Răducanu couldn't finish the play.

Lütfü Öktemer made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Santino Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lütfü Öktemer. That made the score 3-1 in the 62 minute of play. Lütfü Öktemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Claudiu Răducanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARAZZINO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the MARAZZINO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
