Peng Qi Chong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a free kick in the 8th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Qi Chong in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Peng Qi Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodney Staple fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Antonio Indiano got a free kick in the 26th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Qi Chong in the 27th minute of play. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sacha Lilley in the 29th minute. In the 33rd play minute Peng Qi Chong came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 1-0. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Martyon Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Staple in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Astreix&ObelixSoccer defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martyon Diehl. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martyon Diehl should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute of the match Rodney Staple sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Manuel Viñaspre got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Sven Biörkman was substituted for Peng Qi Chong. After 75 played minutes Astreix&ObelixSoccer got a freekick which was hit by Kris Chamberlain. The audience held their breath when Kevin Mastache in the 76th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Martyon Diehl's left hand side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Astreix&ObelixSoccer. Sacha Lilley stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Manzanares. 2-2. Martyon Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Kevin Mastache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Martyon Diehl did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Biörkman in the 90th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
