Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Scott Bradbury took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elia Di Ianni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elia Di Ianni was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Elia Di Ianni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute of play forced El Expreso's goalkeeper Elia Di Ianni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Di Ianni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Chile's Xavier Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Elia Di Ianni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute of play forced El Expreso's goalkeeper Elia Di Ianni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Quan in the 36th minute of play. Elia Di Ianni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elia Di Ianni. Elia Di Ianni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu de Sousa. Elia Di Ianni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. When El Expreso's Edu de Sousa in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute El Expreso were awarded a corner. Zhu Quan went to the cornerflag to take it. After 65 played minutes El Expreso got a freekick which was hit by Kalidou Koulibaly. With a little luck, El Expreso's Elia Di Ianni got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Scott Bradbury kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Di Ianni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Bradbury, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a little luck, El Expreso's Elia Di Ianni got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu de Sousa in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu de Sousa in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elia Di Ianni made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Zhu Quan came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. When Tacettin Öksüzoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Expreso's protests and gave Tacettin Öksüzoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Expreso's Tacettin Öksüzoğlu got a free kick in the 89th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu de Sousa in the 93rd minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
