In the 18th minute, 张震远 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Vlastislav Tomeš scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeroným Cajthaml in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukáš Plecháč. FC Straky's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Vlastislav Tomeš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the FC Straky players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, FC Straky's goalkeeper Lukáš Plecháč had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Angel Metanov charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Metanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angel Metanov hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukáš Plecháč breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Lukáš Plecháč didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a defensive mix-up in FC Straky's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukáš Plecháč came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeroným Cajthaml in the 77th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlastislav Tomeš in the 80th minute of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeroným Cajthaml in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
