Gelp 22's Cheng Liang Cheng was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 13th minute, Orlando Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jaime Laurin managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, Luca Espinar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gelp 22's Jaime Laurin. Jaime Laurin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jaime Laurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Jaime Laurin in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Laurin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gelp 22's Saverio Fidensio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jaime Laurin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes, Flavio Fonticoba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gelp 22 and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Abajas to make the kick off. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Laurin having to interfere. Reimo Zaborowski's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reimo Zaborowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Gelp 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reimo Zaborowski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 68th minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Jaime Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, one of Gelp 22:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gelp 22. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Fonticoba in the 79th minute of play. Jaime Laurin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jaime Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Fidensio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Fabricio Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gelp 22 made a substitution. Natalio Froylan replaced Flavio Fonticoba. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
