The MR7 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Andor Szűcs in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Erim Beşer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the MR7 defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erim Beşer. The MR7 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erim Beşer should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, MR7's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Erim Beşer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MR7's Erim Beşer didn't even have to move.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Fredriksson in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Erim Beşer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andor Szűcs in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andor Szűcs in the 82nd minute of play. Karl-Michael Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The MR7 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
