Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oskar Petersson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ture Viberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gnaget leker's Ture Viberg. Ture Viberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ture Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Gnaget leker's Ermegildo Indartsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ture Viberg made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Gnaget leker's goalkeeper Ture Viberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 20th minute Ermegildo Indartsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Viberg having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Indartsu in the 27th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Ermegildo Indartsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Österlund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, one of Gnaget leker:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gnaget leker. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gnaget leker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gnaget leker getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ragnar Österlund hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randolph Pearman in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ture Viberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Gnaget leker's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gnaget leker booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Petersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Gnaget leker's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Oskar Petersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Viberg having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Rommel Molotov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rommel Molotov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
