Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaston Zárate made the kick off which started today's match. Miroslaw Gollob came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gollob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Zárate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurand Cempa in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Alonso came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Zacisze Częstochowa got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristo Verdu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gonzalo Firme was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Zárate in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Cristo Verdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jurand Cempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Alonso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of play forced Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Miroslaw Gollob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gaston Zárate from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Zacisze Częstochowa were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristo Verdu took the corner. In the 41st minute Zacisze Częstochowa were awarded a corner. Cristo Verdu went to the cornerflag to take it. Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zacisze Częstochowa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Mexico booed when Zacisze Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Margiris Nekrošius didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After having played for 52 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Gollob having to interfere. Miroslaw Gollob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute. In the 68th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. Miroslaw Gollob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Miroslaw Gollob in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Zacisze Częstochowa's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Gollob came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 minutes, Axel Coomans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zacisze Częstochowa and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zacisze Częstochowa! Miroslaw Gollob had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslaw Gollob made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 92 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. In the 95th minute Gaston Zárate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Cempa in the 96th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
